Internship Opportunities
VU Communication students are required to complete 3-5 Communication Practicum units. Students can choose between COMM 450 OR COMM 455. Southern California is the media capital of the world. Because of our location, our students develop contacts with international, national and regional communication companies such as the major television networks, motion picture studios, and religious media. Consequently, there are hundreds of internship opportunities for VU Communication majors.
VU students have done internships with some of the following companies: Fox Sports West, KNBC-TV, KWAVE Radio, KMTR-TV, White House Press Office, Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, BET-TV, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, KTLA News, KFSH 95.9, EXTRA-TV, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers, FOX Sports NET, TBN, Jim Henson Productions, Nickelodeon, Disney, Jesus Film Project, Atlantic Records, Ocean Park Pictures, NBC-TV, CNN-New York, Catchlight Films, International Media Ministries (IMM)-Spain, etc.
