Craig Young, JD
Bio
Craig Young joined the staff in 2005. Growing up in the AG church, Craig completed his doctorate in jurisprudence in 1988 at Western State University and is working toward a masters in theology at Vanguard. Previously, Craig was general counsel to the second largest division of a Fortune 100 financial services firm. Responsibilities included being president to the firm’s family business division, assisting clients with charitable, estate and business succession plans. He also served a four hospital medical center as the foundation CFO and director of gift planning. Much of Craig’s career has been invested building volunteer fundraising teams and educating professional advisors on the exciting opportunities available through sophisticated charitable gift planning. Craig’s highest passion is in discipling others into a Spirit filled life. Raising money for Vanguard uniquely fits this passion as he invites others to share their resources to maximize Kingdom impact as the University equips students for a lifetime of leadership and service.
Craig enjoys surfing, tennis, and golf.
